Recommended Application
A very hard substrate with a cobalt enriched outer layer, MTCVD TiCN and a thick α Al2O3 CVD coating with post coating surface treatment. Features excellent thermal stability and resistance to chipping and plastic deformation. Recommended for high speed machining of steel at stable or slightly unstable conditions and nodular cast iron at interrupted cut conditions. IC8150 can be used for machining stainless steel at low to medium feed and high cutting speed.
