SUMOCHAM comprises a revolutionary clamping system that improves productivity output rates while enabling more insert indexes. The shank itself is designed with twisted nozzles and exhibits a durable and stably constructed body. The unique pocket design of SUMOCHAM takes advantage of cutting forces that are mechanically exerted upon the tool. These forces are then converted into gripping forces that are used to tighten the insert towards the back of the pocket head geometry, which features concave cutting edges to substantially enhance the drill's self-centering capability.
