MICRO-3-FEED Fast Feed Milling Tools with single sided trigon shaped inserts for fast and high productivity machining
These unique milling cutters feature the following attributes:
FFT3 EFM indexable endmills with an integral body in diameters of 8, 20 and 25mm.
FFT3 EFM-MM indexable endmills with MULTI-MASTER threaded adaptors in diameters of .787” and .984”.
The trigon shaped single sided inserts feature the following attributes:
FFT3 WXMT 03 inserts are now available in IC882 and IC 5820 carbide grades. These two grades were developed specifically for machining high temperature superalloys, titanium, difficult-to-cut austenitic and duplex stainless steel. FFT3 inserts in IC882 and IC5820 carbide grades will expand the application range for ISO S and ISO M groups.
Tool Features
The cutters mount single-sided trigon inserts with three cutting edges.
Enable a maximum depth of cut of 6 mm or .0236 inches.
Provide a 17° cutting edge angle.
Provide a positive rake angle.
Feature ramp-down capabilities.
Coolant holes directed to each cutting edge, assure efficient coolant supply through the cutter body.
